You might have heard that in the Florida Keys you can take advantage of world class fishing, outstanding scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, sailing, shopping and dining just to mention a few favorites.

And although tourists from all over the world are attracted to the incomparable beauty of the Keys, many still favor the old charm and allure of Key West.  It’s laid-back and reminiscent of a bygone era when famous writers called it home.  You’ll come across accommodations such as The Authors Guesthouse which pays homage to icons like Ernest Hemingway.  It provides tourists with the perfect opportunity to learn of the town’s rich past.  However the Historic Inns are not to be missed.  This group of small hotels in the heart of “Old Town” is surrounded by a wealth of history as well as a fabulous nightlife.            

As you head to Marathon Key, you’ll notice that everything is somewhat less expensive including lodging.  There are camping facilities, bed and breakfasts and chain hotels.  It’s the place to swim with dolphins and view magnificent sunsets.
